Meet member Ronald Nelson

Ronald Nelson is a professional advertising and travel photographer who creates stylized images capturing the stories, magic, and mystery of the world.

When photographing body paint he draws on a deep knowledge of art history and expressive lighting techniques to create unique and memorable images. He enjoys collaborating with painters and models to express their art in high end photos. He is a master of Photoshop and works on every photo until it as perfect as possible.

While calling the Bay Area home, Ronald spends most of each year traveling and photographing the world. He's recently walked the 500 mile long Camino Santiago across Spain, visited the dragons on Komodo Island in Indonesia, and spent six weeks photographing and hiking in New Zealand.

Ronald is available to shoot private commissions, events, and advertising work. He offers a workshop for body painters on how to improve their photography and post processing.
