Meet the Artist: Valerie Daft

Valerie Daft is a Northern California Face and Bodypaint artist and founding member of Human Art Collective. She is a member of the Bothwell Arts community and graduated with a degree in Fine Art painting with Distinction in 2008, with a HND program before that. Valerie has been a face and body artist for over 16 years now and has a wealth of experience and keeps her skills up to date. Airbrushing is a current growth area, as well as working on fashion shoots. Costuming and head pieces is a fantastic addition to her work. Comfortable with deadlines and pressure. Valerie has won and placed in several international competitions and recently took second place in the UK Bodycraft Festival in the airbrushing category. Fully insured, skilled, experienced and a team player. A participating, supporting member of the Human Art Collective.

Human Art Collective is a gathering of Northern California Body Paint artists/models/and enthusiasts. This recently formed group believes that painting on skin is one of the most powerful and ancient of art forms, and they are dedicated to exploring the creative potential of the human canvas.
